basic Central Baptist Winter 2022-2023 - How to Discern the Voice of God
This series expands on some of the things discussed in the Daily Discipleship Guide for the Winter 2022-2023 Young Adult Sunday School class at Central Baptist Church, Warner Robins. This particular study is focused on the topic of how to discern the voice of God, and what goes into to doing that properly. Developing spiritual discernment is an important facet of growing up to spiritual maturity—being able to determine what God is calling us to in all matters big and small. Perhaps it doesn't sound so hard, but one very quickly realizes that we face such a staggering number of decisions every day that trying to consistently reason out what to do based upon prayer and searching the Bible is no trivial matter when taken seriously. So how ought we do it effectively? How ought we make out the voice of God? We'll talk some about that here in this study.

This video series is a discussion-based group Bible study going through Bible Basics Part 6A (BB6A) on Ichthys, a study of the Christian walk—the path of spiritual growth and production that we must all walk as believers. The early recordings in this series were the very first video content that I ever recorded, and we were not particularly organized, because wider distribution was not at that point something I had in mind. All the lessons posted in this study on the website, however, correspond to the later videos in the series, once we started to become (somewhat) more organized and focused.

A video series going through SR4 on Ichthys, a study covering the structure and organization of Satan's world system. Satan is the present ruler of this world (only because God lets him, for this short time), and tries by all means to deceive us and distract us from the truth. By formally studying his strategies and tactics, we can learn to see through his illusions, and come to appreciate the spiritual realities that are actually at work in the world.

This series is a verse-by-verse study of Romans based upon an in-person Bible study from the college/career group at Second Baptist in 2023. The contents of this study are more my thoughts on the discussion questions raised as part of this Bible study than an accurate reflection of what we went over as a group.
